A WILLING SACRIFICE

As bats

Skim through the blackness of night

Wheeling meticulously,

Weaving their way through the unseen maze

With confidence,

With experience bestowed upon them by-

The Great Creator

So the Lord will guide us,

Will lead us

In quietness,

As those tiny creatures

Who fail to penetrate the eerie silence

Of the darkened veil.

With confidence,

As we marvel at the way

In which the Master would wield

His surrendered instrument,

Manipulating it

With artistry only God can show.

Holding us firmly within His Mighty Hands

Never letting His precious children fall,

So the Lord would have us move

Unwavering

In our stand for Him,

As we yield ourselves

A willing sacrifice to our

‘IMMORTAL KING’
