STAND STILL

‘Stand Still’

I hear You say

When I just don’t know what to do,

Each situation pressing

But I know Lord You will see me through.

Let each new step I take

Be in the direction in which You lead,

With Your message buried in my heart

Let me walk bearing precious seed.

Let Your Word be planted

Deep within the hearts of those around,

Where Holy Spirit You will water it

That new love may then abound.

So as I contemplate this new day Lord

Let my heart and soul be still,

But let my praises ring

From a grateful heart

That longs to do

Your Will.
