CHASING RAINBOWS

Is it wrong to chase a rainbow,

When the rainbow is the Lord’s,

For the rainbow relates to promises

Made to man by our Father God.

A bow set in the heavens

A reminder there for man,

That there is nothing God has promised

Cannot be done

For He says-

‘I Can,

I can call down from the heavens

Mighty storms upon the seas,

I can cause the sun to cease its shining

And at My Word the devil flees.

I can make something out of nothing,

I can make that which was not there,

Causing people to gaze in wonder,

Causing people to stop and stare’.

So when God gives us a promise

Calls us in obedience to go,

Begin to walk in faith not seeing

But having His assurance you will know-

One day,

The ending of that rainbow

Which at present you cannot see,

So until then,

Look,

Behold Jesus only

And hear Him whisper,

‘ONLY TRUST IN ME’
